Dr. Gilleran, who always wanted to be a dentist, received her undergraduate degree from Kalamazoo College and went on to complete dental school at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry (now Mercy School of Dentistry). In 1987, she realized her dream of opening her dental practice in the heart of Chicago. Dr. Gilleran was selected as one of the “top-rated” dentists in Chicago in 2004 by Chicago Consumers’ Checkbook.
As much as she loves dentistry, Dr. Gilleran loves her family even more. She and her husband Tripp met on a blind date set up by a patient. They have been married since 1995 and have four beautiful children – no oldest, no youngest, no middle child. How is that? Two sets of twins – a boy/girl combination both times!
Dr. Gilleran also enjoys art, including sewing, working with photo albums, designing, and creating wall art. In fact, our offices are decorated with her own designs, as well as the designs of her mother Barb, who retired in 2006 after working for 14 years as a dental assistant in the practice.
